Frontend UI Engineering

Build production-quality user interfaces: component architecture (composition over configuration, presentation separated from data), a state-management ladder from local state up to global stores, mobile-first responsive layouts tested across breakpoints, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility (keyboard navigation, ARIA labels, focus management, meaningful empty/error states). A recurring theme is avoiding the “AI aesthetic” — purple gradients, over-rounded cards, stock grids — in favour of the project’s real design system.

This is new territory for the wiki: no GSD or Matt Pocock counterpart covers UI craft. It implements stage-implement.
